Fire Extinguisher Servicing
Fire extinguishers must be serviced annually by a qualified engineer to comply with British Standards.
To make the process of annual servicing pain-free, we offer fixed price maintenance contracts. Whilst on site, our engineers check all of your fire safety equipment, such as fire blankets and hose reels, to ensure they meet the required standards. All servicing is carried out to BS5306 standards by BAFE qualified engineers.
As well as the supply, installation and maintenance of fire extinguishers we also offer fire awareness training, which covers how to use the different types of fire extinguisher as well as fire marshal training.
Frequently Asked Questions
All fire extinguishers should be inspected once a year. We can do this as a one-off or as part of a fire extinguisher service contract. Some public buildings such as schools may require more frequent servicing, which we are happy to arrange.
Yes, our service technicians are qualified to refill fire extinguishers. For extra peace of mind we can do this as part of a fire extinguisher service and maintenance package.
Yes, we offer fire extinguisher training as part of our fire awareness training course. We look at the theory and practice of using a fire extinguisher, including a hands-on demo to build confidence. Delegates learn how to distinguish between the different classes of fire extinguisher and when to use them.
