Safeguard your building and everyone who uses it. Choose Parr Fire for qualified, professional fire alarm and emergency lighting system design, supply, installation and servicing across the UK.

Fire alarm systems for maximum protection

Fire alarms and emergency lighting systems are two of the most important safety measures in a business. Installing a high quality, well-maintained alarm and lighting system can protect against the risk of fire and safeguard your building and those who use it.

We are a leading installer of fire alarms and emergency lighting in the North West and across the UK. Our qualified team of electrical engineers design, install, commission, maintain and service fire alarms systems to meet current British Standards and BAFE requirements. We cover every aspect of project management from initial consultation right through to fire alarm installation and ongoing maintenance.

Every property has different fire safety needs. Our engineers assess your property and advise on the best and most cost effective solutions for your business. We offer a host of solutions including conventional fire alarm solutions, the very latest in wireless fire alarm systems and carbon monoxide detection technologies. We design bespoke fire alarm systems and install them keeping disruption to a minimum.

Emergency lighting plays a crucial role in safe evacuation in the event of a fire breaking out. Usually linked to the fire alarm system, it activates in the event of the alarm sounding. Emergency lighting is an integral part of our fire alarm design and fit package and can also be provided as a standalone service.

When it comes to maintaining your fire alarm and emergency lighting system, our expert engineers carry out a comprehensive audit and assessment, documenting their findings in a report with photographic evidence.

We can source everything you need to comply with current fire legislation including solutions for the most complex of environments.

Frequently Asked Questions

Under UK fire safety regulations, most fire alarm systems require servicing at least twice a year. Larger buildings, such as apartment blocks, high rise offices and industrial sites should be serviced on a quarterly basis.

Depending on the size of the building, we can do a one-hour or three-hour test. This involves dropping power to lights and activating the test key. Our engineer will check for any bulb failures, lighting unit failures and loss of power. You’ll receive a written report of findings and receive an emergency lighting test certificate.

Yes, we can design and install fire alarm systems for all types of premises, old and new. To do this, we’ll need to see plans of the building and require full access to all areas, including roof spaces.

Parr Fire carried out an upgrade on our Stadium fire alarm system, which was in-depth and complicated. Parr Fire carried out the work professionally and with minimal disruption. They also provided engineers, at very short notice, when we had issues with damaged fire protection equipment on site. This has proved invaluable to ensure our business and hotel can remain functioning 24/7.
