About Parr Fire

Commercial fire safety systems, maintenance and training delivered with the same care, attention to detail and quality as we expect in our own homes and business premises.

North West fire safety experts

Parr Fire started life back in 2006 as a business partnership carrying out fire risk assessments for properties. Our business was borne out of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order of 2005, which put the onus on the business to carry out risk assessments on commercial premises. It meant employers, building owners and occupiers needed to understand fire safety and nominate a ‘responsible person’ to oversee fire safety activity and ensure compliance with the legislation.

We began carrying out fire risk assessments for local businesses across Bolton and noticed that organisations were charging unfairly for fire safety services. So we set out to provide our own suite of high quality services at fair and affordable prices.

Parr Fire became a family affair when our founder’s wife, daughter and son-in-law joined the business. As demand for our services grew, we extended our team qualifications to include fire alarm system design, servicing and installation, fire extinguisher installation and maintenance, fire safety training and health and safety signage.  We partner with carefully selected suppliers that share our stringent safety and quality standards to deliver a wide range of fire safety products and services.

Our UK client base currently tops 3,500. It includes high-rise buildings and apartments, student accommodation, HMOs, stadiums, industrial and manufacturing sites, offices, retail and leisure premises. That’s a lot of clients who trust our expertise to keep them, their staff, customers and businesses safe and compliant with commercial fire safety legal obligations. It’s an achievement we’re extremely proud of.

We operate a team of 11 from our offices in Bolton, Lancashire. Our five engineers are all trained to quality and safety standards and hold industry-recognised qualifications. Meet our team below.
