24/7 Fire Alarm Monitoring Systems

Alarm monitoring, installation and maintenance from national experts in fire safety. Choose from a range of conventional and addressable monitoring systems, all with 24/7 emergency response from our Manchester monitoring station.

Alarm Monitoring, Installation and Maintenance

When fire breaks out in a building, every second counts. A monitored fire alarm system activates as soon as it detects smoke, raising the alarm at our 24/7 monitoring station in Manchester. Nominated keyholders and/or the emergency services can be contacted automatically, giving peace of mind to building occupants and owners.

We install, maintain and monitor conventional and addressable alarm systems in properties across the UK at very competitive fees.

Conventional alarms are often fitted in buildings that require an immediate emergency response. They can be set to call either a list of nominated keyholders, e.g. a caretaker or site manager responsible for investigating the alarm, or to call the fire service directly.

Addressable alarm systems offer more functionality and more options for the end user. They are commonly used in residential settings such as student accommodation and care homes where alarms are often activated accidentally. An addressable system allows the building owner or manager to investigate for false alarms before calling out the fire service.

Most monitored alarm systems come with apps and portals that give real-time status updates and incorporate a range of management tools – on top of 24/7 back-up from our experienced support team. Whichever option you choose, there’s a reliable alarm signalling device to keep you connected and your property safe from the risk of fire. Ready to discuss the options?

Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, monitored alarm systems are designed to work over several different connections, including broadband and GPRS/GSM. Integral back-up batteries and radio signals will raise the alarm if fire damages cabling. Please ask us about system specifications and the safety benefits for your business.

When the system detects smoke in the building, it transmits a high-speed signal to our 24/7 monitoring station based in Manchester. The team there respond immediately in line with a pre-agreed emergency plan for the building.

There are three courses of action depending on your service agreement and type of alarm system: a pre-alarm investigation, notifying nominated keyholders, and calling the fire brigade. We will run through all the options with you when you make an enquiry.

Parr Fire carried out an upgrade on our Stadium fire alarm system, which was in-depth and complicated. Parr Fire carried out the work professionally and with minimal disruption. They also provided engineers, at very short notice, when we had issues with damaged fire protection equipment on site. This has proved invaluable to ensure our business and hotel can remain functioning 24/7.
